PostSubject: Books, books, books.....   Sat Nov 08, 2008 12:02 pm

It's funny, in 25 years of knowing Eugene, I saw him read maybe two books. Well, in the last eight month or so, he must have read a dozen. Aaaand.....bought probably 30! He can't even keep up with reading all the books he buys. We're building a library here, folks. I'm talking christian books of course, and not novels either. It's great, it gives us so much to talk about and discuss, and it gives Eugene much to think about during the many hours behind the wheel.

What are some excellent christian books you guys can recommend (besides #1 of course, the Bible should always be more important than what any man can write!) ?

We really like the Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson. And lately, God Chasers by Tommy Tenney! You don't want to miss this. A great book on the subject of money is Your Money or Your Life by Russel Corben. I also got Crazy Love by Francis Chan. I wanted to read it but mostly bought it to pass it on to the church. The last person I lent it to, has been reading it everywhere he goes, even in the coffee shop in the mornings.
Barb, I read Rees Howells Intercessor and was deeply touched by his story, and moved to deeper surrender of my life. I think it changed something profound in me. Great book! Now all you need to do is come for coffee, and you can take it back. When are you coming, huh? Huh?
